Medicines
Order medicines from licensed pharmacies, clinically checked by a pharmacist and delivered to your door.
What this is
Medicines is the platform's most tightly governed service, because it is the one with a drug licence behind it. Four different partner roles touch a single order — the chemist who stocks it, the distributor who supplies the batch, the pharmacist who clinically verifies every product and reviews every prescription, and the courier who delivers. Nothing reaches a patient without passing all of them.
A pharmacist checks everything
Every product listing is clinically verified by a registered pharmacist before it can be sold, and every prescription is reviewed before a prescription-only medicine ships.
Batch-level traceability
Stock is held as dated batches. Expired, blocked and recalled batches cannot be dispensed, and the oldest usable batch goes out first.
Licensed partners only
Drug licence, GST, PAN and address proof are on file for every chemist before a single product is listed.
How it works
The same service seen from each desk it passes through. Pick the one you sit at.
You have a prescription to fill, or you need over-the-counter medicine.
- 1
Browse the catalogue
Search for a medicine. Every product you can see has already been pharmacist-verified and admin-approved.
- 2
Upload a prescription if needed
Prescription-only medicines are gated. Upload the prescription — or use one already in My Prescriptions — and a pharmacist reviews it.
- 3
Add to cart
Build the order across products from the same pharmacy.
- 4
Enter the delivery address
Name, phone and full address with pincode. This is where the courier goes.
- 5
Pay
Pay through Razorpay; the order is placed once the payment signature verifies.
- 6
Pharmacy accepts and packs
The chemist accepts the order and packs it, allocating stock from a valid, unexpired batch.
- 7
Delivery
A courier picks up, moves to in-transit, and delivers. You can follow the state on the order.
- 8
Return if something is wrong
Raise a return with a reason from the order. Returns are approved by the platform, not by the shop.
What it costs
Patient pays the pharmacy's price online at checkout
The order is paid in full through Razorpay before the pharmacy accepts it. Refunds follow an approved return.
Worth knowing
- Prescription-only medicines cannot be ordered until a registered pharmacist has approved the prescription.
- Every product — including over-the-counter — needs pharmacist verification AND admin approval before it appears in the catalogue.
- Expired, blocked and recalled batches are barred from dispensing by the service itself.
- Partner logins require an emailed one-time code on every sign-in, for all four partner roles.
- Returns are raised with a reason and approved by the platform.
Common questions
Why was my order held?
Almost always a prescription awaiting pharmacist review. The order shows the review state.
Can I order a schedule-H drug without a prescription?
No. The gate is enforced server-side and cannot be skipped.
How is expiry handled?
Stock is allocated oldest-expiry-first from valid batches; anything expired or recalled cannot be picked at all.
