Marketplace
Rental Equipment
Rent medical equipment — oxygen concentrators, hospital beds, wheelchairs — from vendors the platform has verified.
What this is
The rental marketplace connects patients recovering at home with equipment vendors. Every vendor is document-verified before it can trade, and every listing is approved item by item, with photographs, before a patient can see it. Individual units are tracked, so what you rent is a specific serial-numbered item, not a category.
Vendors are vetted
Business licence and GST certificate on file, email and mobile verified, then approved by the platform.
Listings are approved too
No listing goes live without at least one real photograph of the equipment.
Unit-level tracking
Each item of stock is its own unit, so availability, condition and return are tracked per piece.
How it works
The same service seen from each desk it passes through. Pick the one you sit at.
Someone is recovering at home and needs equipment for weeks, not years.
- 1
Browse equipment
Open Rental Equipment and browse by category. Listings show the daily or monthly rate, the deposit and the vendor.
- 2
Check availability
Availability is per unit — the listing knows how many pieces are actually free for your dates.
- 3
Add to the rental cart
Choose the rental period. The cart prices the period and the refundable deposit separately.
- 4
Pay
Pay online through Razorpay. The order reaches the vendor once payment is verified.
- 5
Delivery and installation
The vendor delivers and, where the equipment needs it, installs and demonstrates it.
- 6
Use the rental
Track the active rental and its end date under Rental Orders. Extensions are requested from there.
- 7
Return
The vendor collects the unit and inspects it. The deposit is returned less any damage the inspection records.
What it costs
Rent for the period, plus a refundable deposit
The patient pays the rental for the chosen period and a deposit at checkout. The deposit is returned after the unit is collected and inspected; damage is deducted against the inspection record.
Worth knowing
- A vendor cannot list anything until both documents are on file and an admin has approved the account.
- A listing without a photograph cannot be approved, no matter how complete the rest of it is.
- Deposits are held against damage and returned after inspection, not at drop-off.
- Delivery area and installation support vary by vendor and are stated on the listing.
Common questions
Can I extend a rental?
Yes — request the extension from the active rental before it ends, subject to the unit still being free.
Who services the equipment?
The vendor. Faults are reported through the rental and are the vendor's responsibility to fix or swap.
Is the deposit refundable in full?
Yes, less anything the return inspection records as damage.
